On June 18, 2025, China’s state-owned media CCTV reported that Hozon Auto, the manufacturer of NETA electric vehicles, had filed for bankruptcy with the court in Zhejiang Province, citing its inability to repay debts owed to numerous creditors and suppliers. This has led to the company entering an official state of bankruptcy.
However, NETA Thailand has yet to issue any public statement clarifying its connection with the parent company in China or outlining its plan to support Thai customers going forward.
