Parking in front of someone’s house and blocking their entrance or exit is illegal!

Obstructing a homeowner’s entrance or exit by parking is considered an offense, as it causes inconvenience to the affected party. Homeowners have the right to file a complaint under Section 397, Paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code, which carries a penalty of up to one month in prison, a fine of up to 10,000 baht, or both.

Additionally, the Traffic Act B.E. 2522 (1979), Section 55, designates no-parking zones with the intent of ensuring the safety of both vehicle users and others sharing the road, preventing potential accidents.
