5 Things You Should Check on Your Car Before Traveling in Winter

Winter brings cool, refreshing weather perfect for road trips.
But don’t forget to stay cautious. Cold temperatures and moisture can affect your car’s performance. Here are a few things you should check before hitting the road:

  • Engine: Start the car and let it warm up for 5–10 minutes. Regularly check or change the engine oil.
  • Defogger System: Turn on the defogger and gently touch the glass to see if it’s warming up.
  • Battery: Cold weather can make engines harder to start. Check that the battery terminals are tight and free from corrosion.
  • Tires: Low temperatures can reduce tire pressure. Make sure to inspect and inflate your tires to the recommended level.
  • Suspension: If you’re planning a long trip, consider visiting a service center to get the suspension checked beforehand.

A little extra care can help reduce risks on the road. Wishing everyone a safe and enjoyable journey this winter. 💙
