6 Summer Diseases to Watch Out For!

📣 6 Summer Diseases to Watch Out For

When the summer season arrives, temperatures rise continuously, creating an environment where germs and bacteria thrive more rapidly than our bodies can adapt. This often leads to various illnesses and health problems related to the heat.

Common diseases include:

🔹 Diarrhea
Characterized by frequent loose stools (3 times or more), nausea, frequent vomiting, inability to eat, high fever, body aches, and increased thirst.

🔹 Food Poisoning
Symptoms include nausea, repeated vomiting, abdominal cramps due to intestinal spasms, and diarrhea, sometimes with mucus or blood.

🔹 Heatstroke (Sunstroke)
Symptoms may include dizziness, headache, fatigue, and nausea. As the body temperature continues to rise, it can lead to confusion, slurred speech, and restlessness.

🔹 Cholera
Symptoms include intense thirst, fatigue, reduced urination, shock, rapid pulse, and possible unconsciousness.

🔹 Typhoid Fever
Presents with high fever, headache, body aches, loss of appetite, fatigue, possible rash, and either diarrhea or constipation. Without treatment, the fever may persist for 3–4 weeks.

🔹 Rabies
Mostly affects the brain and spinal cord. Early symptoms include mild fever, sore throat, loss of appetite, and fatigue. Later symptoms often begin with itching and a burning sensation around the bite area, spreading to other parts of the body.
